Steven Clark has agreed another year with Murrayfield Racers.
The forward initially joined the Racers during their first season back on the ice and helped the club win a league and cup double.
Clark was part of another double-winning campaign in 2019/20 as the Racers retained the Stuart Robertson Cup and claimed the NIHL North Cup for the first time.
The 25-year-old says he is eager to get back on the ice after the coronavirus pandemic forced last season to be cancelled.
“It’s been frustrating not getting back as soon as we hoped and not being back at Murrayfield Ice Rink,” said Clark.
“We’ll need to get as much ice time as we can elsewhere to prepare for another year in the Scottish National League.
“Some of our players have gone to other teams, and we wish them all the best. They are a loss, but we can’t worry about that.
“Even though we’ve lost a few good players, the Racers will pull together and hopefully be the same team that produces results as we’ve done in the past few seasons.”
