Ross Borwick has agreed another year with Murrayfield Racers.
The 21-year-old was excellent during the 2019/20 campaign, netting 11 goals with 24 assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.
The former Murrayfield junior player has established himself as an integral part of the Racers’ roster, playing a vital role in the club’s success.
He has helped the Racers win four trophies and played every game during the memorable NIHL North Cup campaign that ended with a victory over Whitley Warriors in the 2019/20 final.
“It’s good to be back after such a long time away – I’m buzzing to get started and see the boys,” said Borwick.
“It’s a shame that we are unable to compete in the North Cup this year with everything going on with the rink.
“However, we’ve got the Scottish National League to look forward to, and hopefully we will be back competing for trophies against the NIHL teams the following year.
“Thanks to all the fans for staying patient – it won’t be too long until you can all come to watch and cheer us on again.”
