Dean Walker has agreed another season with Murrayfield Racers.
The 24-year-old helped the Racers win successive doubles in his first two years with the club, including the stunning success in the 2019/20 NIHL North Cup.
Walker has performed consistently in the Scottish National League (SNL) over the past few seasons, having previously represented his country at junior level.
Having spent the past 18 months on the sidelines due to the pandemic, Walker says he is eager to return to action this season.
“I’m delighted to be coming back to the Racers for another year,” he said.
“It’s been a long time without hockey, the longest I have gone without it, so I’m excited to get going again.
“I have been on the ice now and then with the Edinburgh Knights just keeping myself fit.
“I’m now looking forward to getting back with the boys at the Racers and get back to winning trophies.
“It will be good to see the fans again, and hopefully they can get behind the team and be as loud as ever. Hopefully see you all soon!”
