Clark keen to continue progressing after signing for his third year with Murrayfield

Steven Clark has agreed a third year with Murrayfield Racers.

The forward initially joined the Racers during their first season back on the ice and helped the club win the Scottish National League (SNL) title and Stuart Robertson Cup (SRC) during the campaign.

The 24-year-old was part of another double-winning season last term as the Racers retained the SRC and claimed the NIHL North Cup for the first time.

Clark says he is eager to continue his progression under Director of Hockey, Tony Hand, and is eyeing even more silverware next season.

“I feel we did really well last season, especially winning the NIHL North Cup, and it was a bit gutting that the season ended due to the lockdown,” he said.

“I feel like I definitely improved from my first year and I aim to keep working hard in the season to come.

“Hopefully we can come back even stronger and keep winning cups with the boys!”
