Murrayfield Racers host Dundee Tigers in the Scottish National League (SNL) on Sunday aiming to finish their regular season fixtures on home ice with a flourish.
Tony Hand’s side secured second place in the table last weekend with a 4-3 victory over North Ayrshire Wild and they will be eager pick up another two points against the Tigers.
The two sides have met three times in this season, with the Racers winning 7-1 at Dundee in the league and 10-4 on aggregate in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
However, despite those victories the Racers will be taking nothing for granted against a team who have been much-improved this term.
The Tigers recorded their 11th league victory of the campaign at North Ayrshire Wild last weekend to guarantee themselves third place in the standings.
