Murrayfield Racers turn their attentions back to the Scottish National League (SNL) this weekend as they go head-to-head with North Ayrshire Wild.
The Racers need just one point to guarantee they will finish second in the league, but they are sure to be going all out to record a victory.
Tony Hand’s side triumphed 7-0 against Wild in the reverse fixture back in February, with Joel Gautschi weighing in with a hat-trick in that game.
The Racers also recorded two comfortable victories over Wild in the group stage of the Stuart Robertson Cup earlier in the season.
North Ayrshire have lost six games in a row in the SNL, but produced a much-improved performance at Kirkcaldy Kestrels last weekend.
They led 2-1 at the second break, before the Kestrels battled back in the final period to secure a narrow 3-2 victory.
Wild are currently eighth in the SNL, but can still move up to seventh place if they collect two points from their final two matches of the regular season.
Unfortunately, the bar at Murrayfield Ice Rink won’t be open to fans for the game.
There are still a handful of tickets available for the Player of the Year Dinner during April. Please click here for further details.
