Murrayfield Racers face a weekend on the road as they bid to try and close the gap on Solway Sharks at the top of the Scottish National League (SNL).
The Racers visit North Ayrshire Wild on Saturday, before travelling to face Kirkcaldy Kestrels at Fife Ice Arena the following day.
Tony Hand’s side head into the weekend seven points behind the Sharks, but with two games in hand on the Dumfries outfit.
Solway are favourites to take the title following their overtime victory at Murrayfield Ice Rink two weeks ago, but the Racers will be going all out to exert some pressure on them.
Murrayfield have faced North Ayrshire twice this season, recording a pair of victories in the group stage of the Stuart Robertson Cup.
Wild are currently fifth in the table having won half of their league matches and will be eager to upset the odds on their home ice.
The Racers also picked up a win from their solitary meeting with Kirkcaldy this term, securing a 15-2 success in the reverse league fixture.
The Kestrels have won their last two games to move up to sixth in the standings and their experienced roster will be keen to maintain their winning ways on Sunday.
