Murrayfield Racers visit Aberdeen Lynx on Saturday aiming to secure their place in the final of the Stuart Robertson Cup (SRC).
The cup holders head into the game with a healthy 9-1 lead after last week’s first leg and are favourites to complete the job this weekend.
The winners of the tie will play either North Ayrshire Wild or Dundee Comets in the final.
The Racers return to home ice the following evening to face Belfast Giants SNL in the Scottish National League.
The visitors have had a difficult time of things on their return to the SNL, losing all three matches to date.
They were beaten by Solway Sharks on the opening weekend of the season, before slipping to defeats at Aberdeen and North Ayrshire during November.
However, they have plenty of higher-level experience at their disposal with five players on the roster collectively racking up over 1,150 games in the Elite League.
The fixture will be for double points, with the Giants due to play all their matches on the Scottish mainland this term.
Sunday’s game will also feature a Teddy Bear Toss and food tins collection, which the Racers are hosting in conjunction with Helping Hands.
