Promising netminder added to Racers’ squad for weekend double-header

Murrayfield Racers are delighted to confirm that promising young netminder Harry Elder has been added to the roster for this weekend’s games.

The 16-year-old is currently part of Murrayfield’s junior set-up having previously iced at U16 and U20 level for Dundee Stars. He has also featured for Solway Sharks U16 and Aberdeen Lynx U20.

Racers Director, Willie Dunn, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer Harry the chance to join the squad this weekend.

“He’s a talented young goalie and having the opportunity to experience being around the Racers’ players will undoubtedly help his development.

“The Racers are committed to providing a pathway for younger players to progress in the sport and Harry’s involvement this weekend further highlights this ethos.”

Murrayfield face two games in the Stuart Robertson Cup this weekend, visiting North Ayrshire Wild on Saturday before hosting Kilmarnock Thunder the following day.
