Murrayfield Racers have added forward Kieran Black to their roster for the upcoming season.
Black progressed through the Murrayfield junior system, going on to enjoy prolific campaigns at both U18 and U20 levels.
His form saw him called up by for the annual U19 international against England in 2014 and he played a leading role as Scotland ran out 6-4 winners at Hull.
The 24-year-old will be a familiar face to some of the current Racers squad, having previously iced with the likes of Michael Ireland, Dean Walker and Steven Clark at Murrayfield.
The smooth-skating forward has had a spell away from the game, but says he is eager to make his mark alongside some of his former teammates.
“I’d like to say thanks to the club’s management for the opportunity to come back to Murrayfield and join the Racers,” he said. “Hopefully I can carry on from where I left off.
“The biggest thing for me is being part of a team that can win the league for the second season running. I can’t wait to be back with boys and hopefully my efforts will have a big impact for the team.”
