Clark keen to make his mark as Racers chase more silverware

Steven Clark has agreed a second season with Murrayfield Racers.

The forward signed for the club part way through the previous campaign and his no-nonsense style quickly endeared him to the fans.

Clark helped the Racers win the Scottish National League (SNL) title in their first year back on the ice, with the club going through the season without losing a game.

He was also amongst the scorers as the Racers completed a 17-5 aggregate victory over North Ayrshire Wild to clinch the inaugural Stuart Robertson Cup.

The 23-year-old is eager to keep improving and has set his sights on winning even more silverware during the upcoming campaign.

“Last year went really well for our first season, but hopefully we can do even better this time around,” he said. “Tony (Hand) is building an even stronger squad and I’m excited to be part of it.

“I feel like we could do just as well in the SNL and we obviously want to do much better in the NIHL North Cup. I’m really looking forward to working hard and helping the team get some positive results.”
